This Privacy Policy explains how Cube Magic X collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use the mobile app and related services.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Cube Magic X mobile application and related features, including cube scanning and cloud recognition, solution generation, recording and export, membership subscriptions, restore purchases, subscription management, crash diagnostics, and basic product analytics.
If you open third-party websites, app stores, or services through links inside the app, those third parties are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
When you use scan and recognition features, the app packages the cube images captured during scanning and uploads them to the recognition backend in order to complete cloud recognition.
When you send a recognition request or a remote solution request, the app may include technical and request metadata such as an anonymous installation ID, request ID, client timestamp, time zone, locale, platform, operating system version, device model, app name, app version, build number, package name, and membership status.
Remote solution requests may also include cube state strings, color strings, selected solving method, and language parameters.
When you use membership subscription features, the app works with RevenueCat and the applicable app store to process subscriptions. To identify the current installation, the app may use an anonymous installation ID as the RevenueCat app user ID.
We may also process subscription status, product identifiers, package information, entitlement state, and restore-purchase results related to your subscription workflow. Full payment details are handled by Google Play, the Apple App Store, and their payment systems, and are not directly collected by us.
In production builds, the app may process screen views, analytics events, crash logs, stack traces, and related technical diagnostics through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand usage, investigate problems, and improve reliability.
When you use recording features, the app processes camera video. If you enable audio capture, the app also processes microphone audio. To support recording features, the app integrates Agora RTC-related capabilities and may process session-related items such as channels, UIDs, tokens, and media streams.
Recording assets, rendered outputs, and exported media are generally stored locally on your device. If you choose to export media to your system gallery or share it with another app, the relevant files are sent to the destination you selected.
The app stores necessary local settings and history on your device, such as your last selected cube type and color type, daily free-usage counters, anonymous installation ID, membership state, recognition-disclosure acceptance state, cached server configuration, scan history, recording history, and local working files created for recording, editing, or export features.
To the extent necessary to provide the service, we may share information with or allow information to be processed by the following categories of third parties:
We do not disclose your information to unrelated third parties except when we have your authorization or consent, when disclosure is necessary to provide a feature you requested, when disclosure is required by law or legal process, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect users, services, systems, or legal rights against fraud, abuse, or security threats.
The app does not intentionally read your contacts, SMS messages, precise location, or advertising identifiers.
To provide app functionality, subscription handling, stability monitoring, or technical support, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries or regions other than where you are located. Data protection standards may differ across jurisdictions, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
If you would like to exercise privacy rights, please contact us using the details listed in this policy. To protect device and service security, we may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Unless the app store listing or a specific feature clearly states otherwise, this app is offered to a general audience and is not primarily directed to children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided information in violation of applicable law, please contact us using the details in this policy and we will take reasonable steps to assist.
For more information, you may also review the privacy materials published by relevant third-party services, including Google Play or the Apple App Store subscription and payment services, RevenueCat subscription management services, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, and Agora audio or video services. Those third-party services govern their own privacy practices under their respective policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or service-provider updates. The latest version will be identified by the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document and may be published in the app, on the app store listing, on a website, or through another appropriate channel. If changes are material, we may provide more prominent notice where reasonably appropriate.
